“Swallownest Miner's Welfare is also the home of Swallownest Football Club. Firstly the club house is very good. Spacious inside with a snooker table and screens dotted around so you can watch any sport that is on. Plenty of seating and very reasonable prices at the bar. Got talking to one of the locals and it made for a pleasant experience. Secondly the football ground is a good setup. One covered seating stand and a small covered.standing area. A snack bar is available . Really good place to visit.”
